Hello! Thanks for stopping by PT Tracker!
I started this website because I am, like most of you, waiting for my PT Cruiser too.
I had heard early on that Chrysler would offer this type of service but it never materialized.
I hear rumblings now that it still might. I hope that it does. That would offer many more people
who's dealer's won't signup to use PT Tracker, the ability to follow their PT through production.
Who I heard most was you guys! Hence, PT Tracker.
Of course if Chrysler offers it that would put my fine little hobby here to rest but at least some
folks will have reaped the benefits while it lasted! ;-)
This is going to be as new to me as it will be to those of you whose
dealers signup, so try to be a bit forgiving if we all collectively fumble around in our attempts
to make this work! Please let me know if you come across any "bugs" in the way the site works or
looks, especially if it affects the functionality of the site or keeps you from doing something you need to.
If you do drop an e-mail to me about these things, please include which web browser you're using
and what version it is as well as your current screen resolution and color depth if you know it.
Let me just say straight off that the site should work fine if you're using a version 4 or 5 browser
of any kind. Not completely sure about version 3 browsers and version 2's will probably be very unhappy
with it! The site is also optimized for at least an 800x600 screen resolution and 16 bit color.
My 2 cents: If you want a rich surfing experience, choose Internet Explorer 5. It supports
many more features and technologies that can dramatically enhance your web surfing than does Netscape.
I know I'm asking for some flames here but this opinion comes from many years of surfing and web development
(my job!). Just one man's opinion.....
So, all being said....GO FORTH AND CHECK STATUS!
Thanks,
Michael
